Hembury Woods
We spent a lot of time in this woodland during lockdown. If you walk down the hill you get to the river Dart than runs through the woods. If you go up the hill there is an Iron Age Fort. We found out Hembury means ‘High Castle’ in reference to the Fort. On the hill we imagined many battles with hostile villages…
